Sandblast equipment

Sandblasting has been first time used quite many decades ago and has not evolved into quite big branch of industry. Now we use different sandblast equipment for a lot more then just stripping off the paint and other dirt from surface. Lately one type of equipment and machine just does not cope up with our needs and desires any more.

This is why eventually sandblasting as a whole moved into different branches if we may say that. Now we use specific equipment and media for blasting. This is how shot blasting begin. Shot blasting requires specific shot blasting equipment, different shot blasting machine which is quite similar to sandblasting machine. There are still few items that are same as sandblast equipment, nozzle, hoses and gun can be used the same. Shot blasting machine is used explicitly for shot blasting but since it can used in many different ways and for blasting different things eventually they made more than one type of shot blasting machine. There are specific shot blasting machine which are made for blasting only one type of product, for example, machine for pipes, for extruded profiles made out of aluminum, shot blasting machine for rod, bar and wire and many others.

Basically we can say that shot blasting is starting to divide itself in similar way than original sandblasting began to. If company is blasting a lot of same items and are doing it for more years then they rather make new machine designed specifically for that product because the whole process can be done faster and better this way.
